after dinner went to aunty linda’s house to play cards…
lost RM26….

im on leave today!! yeahooo….. much awaited rest!!
planned to wake up and reach the Immigresion by 7am..
but woke up late cos yesterday had to pray to tin goong…
and overslept…

only got there about 8.30am…
there was a huge crowd!! so unexpected!!
they had just implemented a e-kiosk system but as you would expect! there was not enough information on how to use and there wasnt a single soul nor guard around the e-kiosk station!!
i pity all those old grannies and grandpa’s who dont know how to read… and those bunch of aunties who are so helpless cos they are really not used to using those machines! and because of this it became a really long queue cos no one was there to help these clueless people!!!

lucky me i got approaced by those people from the photo shops who stand there as runners!! they were very very helpfull!! from them i learnt that… and all you had to do was to :-

1. take an envelope place one photograph into it.
2. write your name and phone number on the envelope
3. queue up for the machine
4. chose your language
5. insert your passport
6. insert your mykad
7. have your thumbprint verified over the biometric scanner
8. select the number of pages you want for your passport
9. insert the money (mind you, they only accept RM50 and RM100 notes ONLY)
10. drop the envelope containing the photo and take the receipt

and your passport would be ready in 2 hours!!

(but as you know… our excellent service standards… i had to wait for about 4 hours before i finally got my passport! but it was still faster than the good old days!!)

went to the temple to pray to tai sui yeah to have a smooth flowing year… cos this year all those born in the year of snake are in conflict with tai sui… and this is not a good thing!!

after settling that… i went to my fav sundries shop to get some fresh ginko, barley and foochuk… yum… im going to boil my fav tong sui for dessert tonight!!

went to the townhouse management office to pay RM500 for my parking spot at home… yeah you have to pay to park at your own home!! sheesh… blood suckers….

got to go get ready for dinner tonight… gonna meet my auties and uncles and cousins for lou sang tonight!!

CNY came and went away as a breeze… and i have to start work tomorrow already!!
its going to be me all alone as the whole team already gone on leave for the next 3 days!!

i pray that there wont be any adhoc reports to run…
i pray that there wont be any urgent requests coming in…
i pray that there wont be any people chasing me for things…

i hate it… i have been rushing you the whole day since 9am…
you know i wanted to go home early today.. why do you only give me the file at 4.45pm?
and because i was rushing i made lots of mistakes!

i hate it! i hate it!! i hate it!!!

because of you i got home late… i couldnt finish my house cleaning… i was late for my family reunion dinner!!

p.s. those of you who didnt know… my mom’s restaurant is still open for dinner tomorrow night, hence, we have to eat our reunion dinner one day early… as all of us have to go to the shop to help tomorrow…

another 1 more colleague gone on CNY leave…
more work.. more stress….

i worked till 9pm

very stressed up today… starting tomorrow two of my colleagues from our team is going to start their CNY holiday leave…. so tomorrow there will only be 3 out of 5 of us left in office…

got treated to a sumptious valentine dinner… yum yum… just love steaks…

the more i clean my room.. the more messy it becomes…. chucked away alot of old stuffs… but still alot more to go…

i have an appointment today at 11am at Sohon Midvalley…
have signed up for their CNY promotion which was:-

1 Hair Cut+ 1 Hair Colouring + 1 Scalp and Hair treatment –> for RM128

good deal leeeei?

the service is great… unlike the saloons that i always go to, they were very gentle with my hair, i trully enjoyed the hair wash! not the usual scratch, pull and tug that i always get at the cut above!

the treatment was very refreshing!! as it had some minty minty feel and my head felt so cold! the hair mask smelt wonderful too!

but the hair cut so so only… the hair colouring was a really long process! all in all i sat there for 5.5 hours… my poor butt… and aching muscles… really killing me!

and did i mention there was this kid who accompanied the mom to the saloon screaming at the top of his lungs! so annoying.. and the mom did nothing to shut the kid up… he was so restless! running here and there, screaming, and at one point he came over to me and pulled my hair!! i just stared at him while he laughed with glee!! and the mom also laughed!!! and he tried doing that a few more times!!!

what kind of world is this?

lesson learnt
*never bring a kid to the sallon if you are going to make him sit there for 4 hours!*
*if i become a mother next time, i will have to teach my children manners!*

Despite not being prepared and fit enough
I did it!
With strong will power, determination and perseverance
I did it!!
Because i had my colleague Fen Fen to walk with me and keep my spirits high
I did it!!!

after the walk…

my head felt light…
my legs fell like jello…
my tummy so hungry…
my cells calling for oxygen…

after filling up my tummy, eating some ice creams to cool down myself… and drank gallons of 100+…

went back to office to clear off some work… cos in anticipation that i would be in great pain… i took monday and tuesday off to nurse my poor old muscles…

not bad managed to clear alot of stuffs also!!

went to have a foot massage after work.. and do some grocery shopping… woah my poor muscles aching all the way…
