Q406
Saturday, November 25th, 2006its now nearing year end again…
i woke up this morning and i opened my diary and all of a sudden felt a little lost..
its already nearing the end of november.. and soon december is coming up…
time really flies, especially this year..
some recolections of this year… and what i have learnt…
Jan - Mar
– i started the new year helping out my mom at our family restaurant…
–my finances went haywire, learnt to adapt the hard way by some serious budgeting as the income is way much lesser than my expenses…
–went to Bangkok in feb… had a great time shopping!!
–in march, opened my eyes to poverty and great magnificient architecture (cant think of a word! my brains are dead!) of the yesteryears… the angkorwat is really awesome!! simply enchanting…. took leads of photos (5gb of it!)
Mar- Aug
–went on a new journey, took up a great opportunity to learn and help set up the datawarehouse of a local bank…
–my health went haywire here… every 3 weeks sure MC one time!!
–learnt that its not easy being a leader of a troop…
–trully opened my eyes to lots of serious problems and serious shit!
–i miss my sister and her family alot after they left and went back to US…
–went to bali to destress and rethink of my life…
–came back to KL and resigned…
im grateful for chan to give me the opportunity to learn under his wings… he is really a very fun boss… and i do hope to be able to work with him again… i;ve never had bosses that good to me before…
Aug- present
im very happy with this new place i’ve joined and have not looked back since…
this year has come and brought alot of changes into my life…
many many new friends and lot & lots of ex-colleagues now!!
lots of events that make me realise that there are lots of opportunities out there.. its just waiting for us to grasp it… but once its gone we just have to look forward and aim for the best…
this year can be said to be very turbulent… and lots of things happened… but the best thing is that i no longer walk alone… and i have someone very dear to share it with me…
